The Andrea O. Veneracion International Choral Festival, which was first organized in August 2013, takes place every two years. The festival is open to choirs who wish to compete in one, two or three of the following competition categories: Folk Song, Equal Voices Mixed Choir. The festival honours the late National Artist for Music Andrea O. Veneracion, the founder of the world-renowned Philippine Madrigal Singers and an internationally recognized figure in the field of choral music.
