Culturally Immersive Japan

March 10 – 22, 2027

Japan is a place of captivating contrasts, where ancient traditions live in harmony with vibrant modern life. From serene temples and centuries-old villages to neon-lit cityscapes and cutting-edge art, every moment reveals another layer of this fascinating country.

Due to the popularity of our previous journeys, Broad Escapes is delighted to return to Japan for a third extraordinary adventure, inviting a small group of women travellers to experience the country in a deeply immersive and meaningful way.

Together we’ll wander through peaceful Zen gardens, visit magnificent temples and shrines, and explore beautifully preserved towns where life still reflects the elegance of centuries past. We’ll savour Japan’s remarkable culinary traditions — from a lively street food tour in Osaka to learning the art of sushi making ourselves.

Highlights include a sushi-making workshop, a traditional tea ceremony, and an unforgettable evening with a Kyoto geisha. You may even be treated to the delicate beauty of early cherry blossoms, adding a fleeting, magical touch to our explorations.  We’ll stay in a traditional ryokan, relax in soothing natural hot springs, and travel through spectacular landscapes from the Japanese Alps to the iconic Mt. Fuji region.

From the timeless beauty of Kyoto to the electric energy of Tokyo — where ancient temples stand alongside dazzling digital art installations — this journey offers an inspiring blend of culture, history, cuisine, and shared discovery.

With expert local guides and your Broad Escapes host leading the way, this carefully curated adventure invites you to discover Japan in a way that is authentic, enriching, and wonderfully memorable.

Join us for this extraordinary journey through one of the world’s most fascinating destinations. Space is limited!
